Horse Wisdom Circle: Meditations with the Herd ~ March 17th, 2024 @ 3:00 PM
You are invited to join us for a guided meditation with the wild Mustangs and rescued ponies of I AM HERD Mustang Sanctuary. Please bring a chair, a water bottle, and your own beautiful heart. The experience begins at 3:00 PM and closes at 4:30 PM. We have limited parking, so car-pooling is recommended and pre-registration is requested. Sliding scale donation of $10-$50 per participant. Please place yourself on the scale and select your donation.
I AM HERD is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization located 35 miles from downtown Wilmington, near the small town of Kelly, NC. We are home to many wild (and some wildly gentle) Mustang horses and donkeys, a herd of rescued Shetland ponies, a resident Corolla Wild Horse (aka Banker pony) a Grayson Highlands Feral Pony ... as well as super friendly goats, miniature chickens, giant guardian dogs and even a free range pot-belly pig 🙂
I AM HERD offers socio-emotional wellness programs with gentle members of the herd to area schools through partnership with national non-profit Communitites in Schools. I AM HERD also travels to assisted living facilities and hospitals all across North Carolina sharing the loving touch that horses can uniquely offer.
I AM HERD exists to offer a forever sanctuary for these animals in need and to share this sanctuary with those drawn to the heart of this herd.
The Horse Wisdom Circle: Meditations with the Herd is offered to those of you that feel drawn to share in the peace this sanctuary provides. Meditations are led by the herd of course 🙂 and facilitated by Mary Miller-Jordan, Julie Taylor, and Tricia Odham.
