Silver Mane – The Tale of a Wild Horse

bookcover

The children’s story Silver Mane was inspired by my journey with Lindsay’s Faith, known as “Lenny” in the book. It is written and illustrated by myself, Mary Miller-Jordan. It is soft cover, full color, 50 pages in large print and it is written to appeal to children of all ages, even the ‘adult versions’ such as myself. 🙂

About the story…

Lenny’s character is ‘humanized’ so that the reader can better relate to her journey. The message is all about believing in yourself and believing in a power bigger than us all that has our best interest at heart. It is a non-denominational story meant to appeal to all faiths and all people. It is meant to encourage everyone to have an open mind and to simply believe.

The story line follows Lenny as she is picked on by other mustangs for her unique silver mane. At first she is ashamed of her silver mane. In order for her dreams to come true, she first had to believe in herself and learn to love her silver mane. In the end it is her silver mane and her belief in herself that turns her dream into her reality.
